Mr. Pride vs. Miss Prejudice is a 2017 Chinese romantic comedy. The movie tells the story of an online writer Tang Nan Nan who meets a handsome man Zhu Hou. Tang Nan Nan has a great, but sometimes overactive fantasy. She hopes to become a popular author in the future, but she is often distracted by daydreaming. One day, she runs into rich and successful Zhu Huo and by mistake ruins his marriage proposal. No wonder, Zhu Huo starts treating Tang Nan Nan as his bitter enemy for destroying his relationship.

As if that’s not enough, Zhu Hou loses his wallet and his mobile phone that he heavily relies on because of his trouble memorizing numbers. While searching for his lost belongings, he stumbles across Tang Nan Nan again. Zhu Hou persuades her to let him stay at her place before he finds a way to return home. That is how the enemies Tang Nan Nan and Zhu Hou happen to share the apartment.

Zhu Hou introduces his new roommate to Jian Jun, who looks after his spoiled and irresponsible friend. Jian Jun falls in love with creative and funny Tang Nan Nan, but Zhu Hou does not want them to date. He tries his best to give up his bad habits to get the attention of the girl. Turns out, he develops a crush on her despite their rivalry. The movie shows how love transforms the characters’ personalities and makes everyone a better person by the end of the storyline.
